A 10-year-old boy with brain cancer who dreamed of one day becoming a police officer was given full honors as he was laid to rest.
A 10-year-old boy with brain cancer who dreamed of one day becoming a police officer was given full honors as he was laid to rest. Colin Hayward Toland was made an honorary officer in the Ithaca Police Department in 2016, and later attended their trainings and went on patrol. So it was only fitting that Colin got the send-off he deserved after he died Saturday.
